Lessons from Buddhism for our daily life

Requested and encouraged by Dolpo Tulku Rinpoche, Peter Heuts (dharma name: Thubten Legshey) will offer a series of one-hour lessons on ZOOM.

You can follow of course the series of all sessions as well as separately single lessons, because the sessions will be structured as “stand-alone”.
All sessions will take one hour and consist of brief introductory talks, a guided meditation, a written summary and a short opportunity for questions and answers.

Topics:
Because Dolpo Tulku Rinpoche asked Peter to teach on “patience and the four thoughts”, we will start with an introduction on questions like: “what are the four thoughts?”, “why are they considered to be so important”, “how can the thoughts be put into meaningful practice?”, and so on. We expect to spend the sessions in June and July on these “four thoughts” and on “patience”. After that we will evaluate content and process and plan further lessons.

Peter Heuts is a long-year student of Dolpo Tulku Rinpoche (ever since 2016; e.g. member of the Longchen Shedra). These are his first steps as dharma teacher.
In other fields he is an experienced teacher. Being a physician he has been teaching medical students and residents for decades and from 2008 until 2022 he trained health-care teams in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Attendance is free of charge.
Donations are highly appreciated.
