Longchen Shedra Guest Lecture by Prof. Klaus-Dieter Mathes

We are delighted to announce a special guest lecture by Prof. Klaus-Dieter Mathes, an eminent scholar of Tibetan Buddhism, who currently teaches at the University of Hong Kong.

In this talk, Prof. Mathes will explore the profound Buddhist notion of Buddha Nature (tathāgatagarbha)—the inherent potential for awakening present in all sentient beings. Drawing on classical Tibetan sources, he will illuminate how this teaching reveals the innate purity and luminosity of mind at the heart of the Buddhist path.

This event is part of the Longchen Shedra Guest Lecture series and is open to all who wish to deepen their understanding of Buddhist philosophy and practice.
