How the different religious practices can overcome our negative emotions.

Since 2024, a group of people belonging to different religious traditions has been meeting once a year in Kathmandu for an “inter-religious tea”. In 2024, the event was hosted by Father Gregory Sharkey, a Catholic priest, at Desideri House (Boudha). In 2025, it was hosted by Swami Ekarthananda, a Hindu monk, at Ramakrishna Ashram (Gyaneshwor).

This year, the Inter-religious Tea will be organized by Dolpo Tulku Charitable Foundation at its hall. The gathering will provide an opportunity to share perspectives on how the different religious practices can overcome our negative emotions.

We would be delighted to welcome you in this meaningful and unique interfaith gathering.
